Happy 4th, swimming lessons & fun!

The 4th of July was really fun but really hot!  Emma passed out candy in the Westerville parade for her dance studio but sat on the float half way through due to the heat.  She was NOT a happy camper when she finally got to the end of the parade route where we were sitting.  Luckily she was fine with some water and food.  We then had a cookout with my parents and small fireworks at home.

The kids have had swimming lessons at the outdoor pool for 2 weeks now.  They really enjoy swimming and Emma only has one more level to complete.  Both have to repeat their classes again due to there are MANY things they need to know.  So Ethan is still in level 3 (Turtles) and Emma in level 5 (porpoise).  BTW, I did get more pics of Ethan swimming than Emma because she said I embarrassed her with all my picture taking and that I can watch Ethan since she is 9 now.  Boo....my little girl does not need me as much anymore :(

We also threw in this week visiting Super Games which Ethan will have his 5 year old birthday party in 3 weeks!  He is super excited and I hope we have a great turnout!

Overall our summer break has been so eventful and fun.  I cannot believe that my kids will be back in school in 5 weeks!  They both love school but do not want the summer to end so soon!  Secretly, I sometimes feel like I have lost my patience with them but I do really LOVE being home with them.  SHHHH...don't tell them that!
